Local Saudi producers reveal July PP, PE offers

In Saudi Arabia, a major local producer unveiled its new July offers with decreases for all PP and PE grades for the second consecutive month. The producer issued SAR150-300/ton ($40-80/ton) reductions for PE while PP offers were down by SAR263/ton ($70/ton) when compared to June prices.
Following the major’s offers, another local producer issued SAR263-375/ton ($70-100/ton) decreases for all PP and PE grades.
According to local sources, trading activity remains below average rates as the market is gradually resuming its normal operations post the holidays.
The overall range for July is currently standing at SAR4050/ton ($1079/ton) for LDPE, SAR3750/ton ($999/ton) for LLDPE, SAR3788/ton ($1009/ton) for HDPE film, SAR3900-3938/ton ($1039-1049/ton) for HDPE b/m, SAR3788/ton ($1009/ton) for HDPE inj., SAR3750/ton ($999/ton) for PPBC, SAR4163/ton ($1109/ton) for PPRC, SAR3675-3750/ton ($979-999/ton) for PPH raffia and inj., SAR3825/ton ($1019/ton) for PPH film and fibre., all on FD Jeddah, cash excl VAT basis.
