Domestic PP market surges on reports of production issues

As for PPH, the local producer’s new offers surged by $200/ton over last month, bringing the latest prices to $1270/ton for raffia and inj., $1290/ton for film and $1300/ton for fibre. PPBC inj. offers were similarly higher, increasing by around $160-180/ton from December to be reported at $1310/ton. The sharp increases were largely attributed to tighter allocations from the local producer, reportedly stemming from production issues.
