LyondellBasell grants license for new PP plant in China

LyondellBasell has granted its Spherizone process technology to China Petroleum Materials Limited Corporation (CPMC) and Petrochina Liaoyang Petrochemical Company (LYPC), the European company said in a press release.
The process technology will be used in a new 300,000 tons/year PP plant planned to be built at Liaoyang, China.
However, the value of the contract and the expected completion date of the new plant were not disclosed at the time of press.
