LyondellBasell restarts PP plant in Aubette, runs Wesseling crackers smoothly

An official distributor of LyondellBasell confirmed that the producer restarted its PP plant in Aubette, France. Rumor has it that LyondellBasell also lifted force majeure that was in place since early July; however, there was no confirmation from the producer at the time of publication.
The PP plant in Aubette has a production capacity of 350,000 tons/year.
According to the source, the producer is also operating its Wesseling crackers smoothly in Germany after facing some technical issues at the end of September. The crackers have a combined ethylene capacity of 1.01 million tons/year.
