Maintenance updates on styrene plants in Japan and S Korea
Japan’s Nippon Steel will shut its 230,000 tons/year plant in a period between February and March for a month.
Japan’s Asahi Kasei will also shut its 390,000 tons/year plant between May and June for two months.
Additionally, South Korea’s Samsung – Total will shut its 400,000 tons/year plant between April and May for 20 days.
South Korea’s YNNC will also shut its 285,000 tons/year plant in May for a month.
