Malaysia announces antidumping duties on PET from China and Indonesia

According to a release, Malaysia announced antidumping duties into polyethylene terephthalate (PET) imports from China and Indonesia. The investigation was launched following a petition from a local producer on July 10.
Accordingly, antidumping duties ranging from 6.33%- 11.74% were imposed on PET imports from China. Duties are as follows:
Far Eastern Industries (Shanghai) Ltd. 6.33%
Jiangsu Hailun Petrochemical Co., Ltd. 11.74%
Jiangsu Xingye Plastic Co., Ltd 11.74%
Jiangyin Xingtai New Material Co., Ltd. 11.74%
Other producers from China 11.74%
Meanwhile, for PET imports from Indonesia, authorities have proposed an antidumping duty of 37.44%.
Accordingly, antidumping duties ranging from 6.33%- 11.74% were imposed on PET imports from China. Duties are as follows:
