Malaysia’s Petronas plans LNG expansion at Sarawak

According to media reports, Malaysia’s Petronas is planning to expand the capacity of its Bintulu liquefied natural gas (LNG) complex in Sarawak.

Petronas’ LNG Complex in Bintulu comprises eight trains and a ninth train is expected to be launched in early 2016. Once the commissioning of the ninth train is completed, the complex’s total capacity will increase to of 29.3 million tons of gas per year.
