Malaysia to build crude refinery in Iran

According to media reports, the Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company (NIOEC) Hamid Sharif Razi said that Malaysia is currently conducting talks with Iran to build a crude oil refinery. The refinery is expected to have a processing capacity of 250,000 barrels of oil per day.

The officer also said that NIOEC is now in talks with Indonesia, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Brazil and India on construction of new refineries.
