March propylene contracts start to settle in US

According to market sources, March propylene contracts have started to settle in the US. The new propylene contracts are settling 1.5 cents/lb ($33/ton) higher from February at 31.5 cents/lb ($694/ton) FD USG for polymer-grade propylene and at 30 cents/lb ($661/ton) for chemical-grade propylene with the same terms.
The new settlement marks the first increase in 2016. Sources reported the new settlement was in line with market expectations whereas initial nominations had called for rollovers from February.
