Mexico’s PVC exports to EU rise fivefold in Q1: Eurostat

According to market sources, data from the European Union’s statistics agency Eurostat revealed that Mexico exported 61,926 tons of PVC to the EU in the first quarter of this year, significantly higher than the 25,695 tons of PVC exports in the same period of 2015.
Mexico held a 45.16% share of the EU’s PVC imports in the first quarter compared with a share of 48.69% in the same quarter of last year. Meanwhile, total PVC imports to the EU rose to 137,125 tons in the first three months from 52,778 tons in the same period of 2015.
