More Middle Eastern producers reveal Dec PP, PE offers to Egypt
A trader reported offering on behalf of a Saudi producer with decreases ranging from $40/ton to $60/ton at $1200-1220/ton for homo PP raffia and inj., and $1080/ton for LDPE film, all on CIF, Suez, 90 days deferred payment basis.
He stated that they are willing to negotiate on their offers given the limited buying appetite and added: "Demand remains below moderate due to the year-end, while prices are following a softer path this month.”
A different Middle Eastern producer, likewise, revealed its PP offers to Egypt with $40/ton decreases at $1220/ton for PP raffia and film, and $1240/ton for PP fibre and inj., with the same terms.
"Limited demand is forcing producers to adjust their offers further down," a producer source noted.
