NOVA Chemical readying to complete PE expansion

According to market sources, Nova Chemical is planning to complete its LLDPE expansion project in Canada and start operations before the end of the year. Commercial sales will also start by the end of the year or in early 2017, sources said.
With the Polyethylene 1 expansion project, the LLDPE capacity of the Joffre plant in Canada will reportedly be increased by 950 billion lb/year (around 450,000 tons/year).
