October PX contract settles in US

October PX contract prices have been settled in the US, according to market sources. The new contract prices settled at 40 cents/lb ($882/ton), up 0.5 cents/lb ($11/ton) from September.
The October PX settlement was in line with the expectations in the market, sources reported.
In the US, spot PX prices were reported at $740/ton on an FOB US Gulf Coast basis on Friday.
