October benzene contract settles in Europe

Market sources report that the October benzene contract has been settled in Europe. The new contract was settled €30/ton ($34/ton) lower from September at €597/ton ($668/ton) FD NWE.
In Europe, spot benzene prices are currently quoted at around $665-670/ton CIF ARA, slightly down around $5/ton from a week earlier.
