October butadiene contracts settle in the US

According to market sources, October butadiene contracts have been settled in the US. The new settlement was agreed at 46 cents/lb ($1014/ton), up 2-7 cents/lb ($44-154/ton) from September.
Players had been expecting to see some increases in the October settlement due to tight supply. Sources also reported that this was the first time that all producers agreed at the same level since November 2011.
