PP, PE prices continue to soften in May across North Africa
In Morocco, PE prices were down by €30-40/ton ($32-43/ton) while LDPE and PP prices remained steady when compared to March levels at €980-1000/ton ($1050-1071/ton) for LDPE, €930-940/ton ($996-1007/ton) for LLDPE, €930-950/ton ($996-1017/ton) for HDPE film, €970-980/ton ($1039-1050/ton) for HDPE b/m and inj., €1070-1080/ton ($1146-1157/ton) for PPBC, €1110-1120/ton ($1189-1200/ton) for PPRC, €960-970/ton ($1028-1039/ton) for PPH raffia and inj, €1000-1010/ton ($1071-1082/ton) for PPH film and fibre., on a CIF Casablanca, cash basis.
In Tunisia, PE and PP prices were down by €10-20/ton ($11-21/ton) at €1050-1070/ton ($1125-1146/ton) for LDPE, €970-990/ton ($1039-1060/ton) for LLDPE, €970-980/ton ($1039-1050/ton) for HDPE film, €980-1000/ton ($1050-1071/ton) for HDPE b/m and inj., €1070-1080/ton ($1146-1157/ton) for PPBC, €1110-1120/ton ($1189-1200/ton) for PPRC, €990-1010/ton ($1060-1082/ton) for PPH raffia and inj., €1010-1020/ton ($1082-1092/ton) for PPH film and fibre., on a CFR Tunisia, 90 days basis.
