PetroRabigh delays maintenance at its polymer sites

According to market sources, Saudi Arabia’s PetroRabigh, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Japan’s Sumitomo Chemical, has delayed maintenance work at its polymer sites to October 11. Initially, the company had been expected to suspend polymer production in early October. The polymer plants are expected to be offline for around 50 days.

PetroRabigh is able to produce 300,000 tons/year of HDPE, 600,000 tons year of LLDPE and 700,000 tons/year of PP.
