Petronas awards contract to CTCI for RAPID project

According to a press release on the company’s website, Taiwan’s CTCI was awarded a contract by Malaysian Petronas to provide assistance in engineering, procurement and construction for the company’s Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Johor, Malaysia.
The RAPID project, in which Saudi Aramco agreed to invest $7 billion, was last reported be completed by 77% and on track for 2019 start-up.
