According to market players, Poland’s Anwil has shut its VCM plant in Poland as of yesterday due to a technical issue.

The VCM plant is expected to come online by the second half of June.

The company’s plants in Poland and its Czech subsidiary Spolana have a total PVC production capacity of 470,000 tons/year. How the producer will feed VCM to its PVC plants during this shutdown is yet to be known as the company was not available for further details at the time of publication.
