Poland’s PKN Orlen restarts PTA plant in Plock

According to market sources, Poland’s PKN Orlen restarted its PTA plant with a nameplate capacity of 600,000 tons/year in Plock following a force majeure declaration on PTA output on October 24 for a technical malfunction in one of the heat exchangers.
The company stated that the plant is now operating in “standard” mode.
