According to market sources, Polychim resumed its PP production at its plant in Dunkirk, France, following the force majeure declaration in mid-November. However, the force majeure has not been lifted yet, sources said.

Polychim declared force majeure on its PP supply from Dunkirk, France, due to some technical difficulties following the restart from a maintenance shutdown in the beginning of November.

Sources did not comment on the date the force majeure will possibly be lifted.

The plant has a production capacity of 230,000 tons/year of PP and it is the only PP plant of the company while it receives its propylene feedstock from Versalis’ neighboring cracker.
