Production updates on Hubei Yihua’s PVC plants

According to sources close to the company, China’s Hubei Yihua Chemical will shut its 300,000 tons/year PVC plant in Qinghai on June 20 due to a planned maintenance that is expected to last for a week.
Meanwhile, the company’s 300,000 tons/year PVC plant in Xinjiang, which was shut down in February after an explosion and planned to restart in May, faced a technical problem during the restart process and was shut again. When the plant will be taken back online is not yet known.
The company has a total PVC production capacity of 1,200,000 tons/year.
