Russia’s Poliom was reported to have shut its PP plant for maintenance on September 3rd for a routine turnaround. The plant is located in Omsk, Western Siberia. The company has reportedly completed maintenance as of this week. The plant has a PP capacity of 210,000 tons/year and is fed by a 250,000 tons/year propane/propylene splitter.

During the maintenance, the company installed a new gas recuperation unit which will capture around 300 kg of propylene an hour to be resent to the polymer unit. The new unit is expected to be operational at the end of this year.
