Russia’s Poliom starts up new reactor for PP production

According to a press release on the company’s website, Russia’s Poliom, a joint venture between GC Titan, SIBUR and Gazprom Neft, has put a gas-cycle reactor into operation at its Omsk site, Russia.
The company’s new reactor will be used for PP copolymer production.
The Omsk site also houses a propane/propylene fraction processing unit of 250,000 tons/year and a PP unit with a capacity of 210,000 tons/year.
