Russia’s Rosneft and China’s CEFC to build new petchem complex

According to a press release on the company’s website, Russia’s Rosneft and CEFC China Energy signed a strategic cooperation agreement to construct a petrochemical complex in Hainan, South China.
Under the agreement, both parties are expected to carry out a joint preliminary study on the possible complex and analyze the supply of feedstock for the envisaged complex.
The companies did not disclose any financial details of the agreement at the time of publication.
