Market players reported that Russia’s Rusvinyl, a partnership between Russia’s Sibur and Solvin, has shut its PVC plant for a planned maintenance. The plant has a nameplate capacity of 330,000 tons/year of PVC and 225,000 tons/year of caustic soda. The maintenance is not expected to affect supplies to customers since it was planned in advance. The company reportedly did not disclose specific stop and start dates for the plant.
