According to a source close to the company, Russia’s Tomskneftekhim , a subsidiary of Sibur located in Tomsk, Russia, is planning to shut its LDPE and PP plant between July 20 and the end of August for maintenance.

The PP plant has a production capacity of 130,000 tons/year while the LDPE plant is able to produce 240,000 tons/year.

Meanwhile, the source reported that Russia’s Tobolsk Polymer also plans a turnaround at its PP plant in late July. The plant is expected to be offline for around a month. The capacity of Tobolsk Polymer is 500,000 tons/year.
