Russia’s Ufaorgsintez raises local LDPE prices, holds PP stable

According to a source close to Russia’s Ufaorgsintez, the producer raised their domestic LDPE prices while rolling over their PP prices, with their current offers being effective as of March 22.

The producer reportedly raised their local prices by RUB500/ton ($7/ton) for LDPE 158 and LDPE 108. The producer’s offers currently stand at RUB105000/ton ($1546/ton without VAT) for LDPE 158 and at RUB103500/ton ($1524/ton without VAT) for LDPE 108 on an ex-works Ufa, cash inc VAT basis.

The producer’s PP prices, meanwhile, stand at RUB86000/ton ($1266/ton without VAT) for PP raffia, at RUB87300/ton ($1285/ton without VAT) for PP injection and at RUB100000/ton ($1472/ton without VAT) for PP block copolymer with the same terms.

Ufaorgsintez is able to produce 120,000 tons/year of PP and 100,000 tons/year of LDPE.
