S Korea’s SK, Japan’s JX announce June PX contracts to Asia

Market sources report that South Korea’s SK Global Chemical and Japan’s JX Nippon nominated their June PX contracts to Asia with increases. SKGC and JX Nippon nominated their June PX contracts respectively at $900/ton and $890/ton CFR Asia, up $40/ton from their May nominations.
Nominations from Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan, ExxonMobil and South Korea’s S-Oil are yet to be revealed.
In Asia, spot PX prices, meanwhile, were last reported at around $805/ton FOB Korea, down $5 from a week earlier and unchanged from early May.
