S. Korea's YNCC to shut No. 3 aromatics unit at Yeosu

According to market sources, South Korea’s Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Center (YNCC) will shut the No. 3 aromatics unit at Yeosu on November 1 due to a catalyst change.
It is expected to be offline for around two weeks.
The plant is able to produce 110,000 tons/year of benzene, 60,000 tons/year of toluene and 30,000 tons/year of solvent-grade mixed xylenes.
