SEA producer reveals March LDPE prices to regional markets

A source from a Southeast Asian producer reported that they announced their March LDPE film prices to the regional markets with increases from February. The producer issued an increase of $20/ton on their prices, bringing their new offers to $1170/ton on a CIF SEA, cash basis.
“We are still waiting to see buyers’ response to our new price levels. Hence, the demand outlook is still unclear for us,” the source stated.
In Southeast Asia, overall import LDPE film prices are currently quoted at $1100-1170/ton on a CIF, cash equivalent basis.
