SOCAR plans to sell some shares in Turkey’s Petkim

According to media reports, Azerbaijan’s SOCAR is planning to sell some of its shares in Turkey’s Petkim Petrokimya Holding A.Ş. (PETKİM). As part of the plan, 15.2 million of shares will be sold in March.
SOCAR Turkey Energy had sold 35 million shares at $1.40 on October 2016. After the sale, the company’s direct participation fell by 1.32% in the petrochemical complex and its direct and indirect share in Petkim was down to 52.32% from 54.65%. However, its 51% share in Petkim remained.
