Saudi Arabia’s Petro Rabigh to shut 1.6 mil t/y ethane cracker

According to a source close to the company, Saudi Arabia’s Petro Rabigh is planning to shut its 1.6 million tons/year ethane cracker for maintenance. The cracker will be shut in November for 21 days.
The company’s PPBC plant, 300,000 tons/year HDPE and 600,000 tons/year LLDPE plants will also be shut due to the cracker maintenance.
