Saudi Aramco plans expansion project in Shaybah oilfield

According to media reports, Saudi Aramco is planning to complete an expansion project in the Shaybah oilfield as of the end of May as part of efforts to sustain total production capacity.
Shaybah’s production capacity is expected to reach 1 million barrels per day (bpd) from 750,000 barrels per day. Accordingly, Aramco will be able to keep its production capacity at 12 million bpd.
