Saudi SAMAPCO extends EDC maintenance

Market sources reported that Saudi Arabia’s Sahara and Maaden Petrochemical Company (SAMAPCO) extended the duration of the turnaround at its 300,000 tons/year EDC and 250,000 tons/year caustic soda plants due to some technical problems.
The company had shut its plants due to a planned maintenance on March 10 for a month.
It is not yet known when the plants will be back online.
