Saudi SAMAPCO to shut EDC plant

Market sources reported that Saudi Arabia’s Sahara and Maaden Petrochemical Company (SAMAPCO) will shut its EDC and caustic soda plant due to a planned maintenance.
The maintenance will reportedly start in March 10 and last for about a month.
The plant has a production capacity of 300,000 tons/year of EDC and 250,000 tons/year of caustic soda.
