Saudi Yansab restarts MEG unit, cracker

According to market sources, Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. (YANSAB) restarted its MEG unit after a planned maintenance that started on April 21.
The company also resumed production at its cracker at the same location after a 10-day maintenance shutdown, sources said.
The company’s MEG unit can produce 700,000 tons/year of MEG while its cracker has a production capacity of 1.3 million tons/year.
