Saudi major issues higher PP, PE offers to Tunisia

In Tunisia, a Saudi major approached the PP and PE markets with increases of €20-60/ton for April, bringing their new offers to €1390/ton for LDPE film, to €1300/ton for LLDPE c4 film, to €1240-1250/ton for HDPE film, to €1240/ton for HDPE inj., to €1290/ton for HDPE pipe, to €1180/ton for PP raffia and inj. and to €1280/ton for PPBC inj., all on CIF Tunis, 90 days deferred payment basis.
A converter receiving the major’s new offers said that prices have increased as was expected given the tight availability, adding that their end product demand is disappointing although they hope for some improvements over the near term before Ramadan.
