Saudi major reveals June PP, PE offers to local market

Following the decreases issued in May, PP prices in Saudi Arabia have moved back up in June as prices were revealed SAR23-60/ton ($6-16/ton) higher while PE prices remained unchanged. However, LLDPE prices declined for the second consecutive month, posting SAR75/ton ($20/ton) decreases.
June prices are currently at SAR3975/ton ($1059/ton) for HDPE film, SAR3788/ton ($1009/ton) for LLDPE, SAR4125/ton ($1099/ton) for LDPE, SAR4088/ton ($1089/ton) for HDPE b/m, SAR3975/ton ($1059/ton) for HDPE inj., SAR3495/ton ($931/ton) for PP raffia and inj., SAR3758/ton ($1001/ton) for PPH film and fibre., SAR3629/ton ($967/ton) for PPBC, SAR4077/ton ($1087/ton) for PPRC, all on FD Jeddah, cash excluding VAT basis.
According to local sources, trading activity is slow and expected to remain below average as the country is currently preparing for the upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday and the Haji season.
