Serbia’s HIP Petrohemija is planning to restart its petrochemical complex in Pancevo, according to market sources. The complex was shut on September 5 due to maintenance work at Oil Refinery Pancevo, which is the main naphtha supplier to HIP Petrohemija.

HIP Petrohemija’s complex houses a 200,000 tons/year steam cracker, a 58,000 tons/year LDPE plant, a 90,000 tons/year HDPE plant and a 45,000 tons/year emulsion synthetic rubber plant.
