Shell lifts FM on styrene output from Scotford, Canada

According to market sources, Shell Chemicals has lifted a force majeure on styrene supply from its Scotford manufacturing facility in Alberta, Canada. The company had declared force majeure at the site in early July due to some production issues. The company has a production capacity of 450,000 tons/year of styrene at its Scatford facility.

Meanwhile, sources also stated that the company is planning shut the plant in September for maintenance.
