Shin Etsu plans to shut PVC plant in Netherlands by 2019

According to a source close to the company, Japan’s Shin Etsu plans to run a planned maintenance at its 450,000 tons/year PVC plant in Pernis, the Netherlands by mid-April 2019.
The planned shutdown is slated to last for a month and it will correspond to the spring maintenances in many crackers including at Versalis, BASF, Shell, Dow and Repsol.
