Singapore’s new home sales fall 11.6% in April
Total sales of new private homes fell to 745 units in April compared with 843 units a month earlier. The drop in sales was attributed to fewer start ups of new housing projects. The March figure was the highest seen in eight months while April’s figure remained above the 300-500 unit average for months in which no new housing projects are launched.
64 units out of 745 were sold in the core central region, 361 units in the outside central region and the remaining 320 units in the rest of the central region.
