Sinopec Yizheng selects INVISTA tech for new PTA plant in China

According to a press release, China Petrochemical International Co., Ltd. (Sinopec Yizheng) has signed an agreement to utilize INVISTA Performance Technologies’ (IPT) P8 PTA technology at its third line in Jiangsu, China.
The new PTA plant is expected to have an annual nameplate capacity of 3 million tons/year. The exact date for the start-up and financial terms for the agreement were not disclosed at the time of publication, meanwhile.
