According to market sources, Solvay Indupa is set to resume production at its PVC plant in Santo Andre, Brazil today. The company restarted its caustic soda units at the same site on November 23.

Solvay Indupa had shut its caustic soda and PVC units due to an outage at Braskem’s ABC Petrochemical Complex in Sao Paulo on October 14 as Braskem supplies ethylene feedstock to Solvay Indupa’s Santo Andre PVC plant, which is able to produce 300,000 tons/year.
