A source from a South Korean PET producer reported that they lifted their export prices when compared to last week owing to increasing MEG costs.
The producer’s offers are $20/ton higher to be reported at $980/ton FOB South Korea, cash basis.
Meanwhile, the producer’s done deal levels are standing at $970/ton with the same terms. “Europe is still living the winter season, therefore demand is weak.” the source said.
