According to market sources, Taiwan’s CPC is planning to shut its No. 6 naphtha-fed steam cracker at Linyuan on February 13, 2017 due to a planned maintenance.

It is expected to last for around 56 days and remain offline until April 10.

The cracker has a production capacity of 720,000 tons/year of ethylene and 430,000 tons/year of propylene. It also supplies crude C4 feedstock for a 58,000 tons/year butadiene extraction unit.
