Taiwan’s Formosa restarts its ACN plant at Mailiao

According to market sources, Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics restarted its ACN plant at Mailiao on February 3 following a planned maintenance which started in early January. The plant has two lines, each with a production capacity of 140,000 tons/year.
Sources report that the company is expected to resume offering spot cargoes by the end of February after the Chinese New Year holidays.
