Taiwan’s Kaofu to shut its PS units for maintenance

According to a source close to the company, Taiwan’s Kaofu Chemical is planning to shut PS units at the end of this month for a planned maintenance. The units are expected to be offline for around two weeks.
The producer is currently operating its 50,000 tons/year GPPS line at 90% capacity while their 50,000 tons/year HIPS line is running at 65% capacity.
