Taiwan’s Kaofu to shut its PS units for maintenance

According to a source close to the company, Taiwan’s Kaofu Chemical is planning to shut its PS units at the end of May for a planned maintenance. The units are expected to be offline for around two weeks.
The producer is currently operating its 50,000 tons/year GPPS line at full capacity while their 50,000 tons/year HIPS line is running at 70% capacity.
